Description

These beer taps can actually be found in the bar I own, as well as the coffee I used to paint this piece ;)
This is a little ad I will show in the bar as soon as it is framed. The bar is named "Le Troubadour" (The Troubadour) and I am also a tobacco dealer here in the little town of Felletin, France.

It took me about five days on and off to achieve that (and I had to start all over since I accidentally splashed coffee on the first try :()

Cheers ! (B)

Material used:
Coffee: Cafés Richard
Ink (lettering): Waterman black ink
Brush: 6 1/4 Raphael "petit gris pur"
Pen: Rotring Art Pen 1.1 mm (lettering)
Paper: Canson "Aquarelle Fontenay" (300g/m²) on the grainy side.

Good technique, coffee colors rule, but I'd leave the typography out. Or maybeadd that digitally.

Yeah let's find a name for this coffee gang ... while I think of it, what if red wine is used too in our little challenges, or even more unusual non-digital media ?

painting with coffee eh?:p

nice man

great technique, I also like the typo handpainted:)
I would suggest a stronger outline to make things look more tight.

But its great as it is

C'est tres jolie! Pour vous: + 10

ps perhaps we could have a beer in your bar sometime

Nice one! Hehe, I also did a coffee painted work a month ago.
Like how you achieved the different tones and how you did the reflections. The hand-painted typography is very cool in my opinion. I think it would just look better if you added a black (ink) outline around the objects, as the other Vincent suggested :p
But anyway very good +10

@ITOCELL: ? this is NOT a photo (even though I painted it using a b&w photo as reference)
@cupcake: it is now framed in a glass and light wood frame and still hangs in my bar, though I sold it to a friend. But she's on holiday and it waits for her to pick it up.
